Notre Dame running back Kedren Young will miss the upcoming season and tight end Kevin Bauman has opted to retire due to their respective knee injuries.Young sustained a torn ACL in his right knee during a recent practice, the team announced Saturday. He had 21 carries for 116 rushing yards and a touchdown as a freshman last season for the Fighting Irish.Notre Dame is expected to lean on running backs Jeremiyah Love, Jadarian Price and Aneyas Williams in 2025.Bauman, a sixth-year senior, announced on Instagram that he will retire after injuring his articular cartilage in his left knee.
