The New York Mets activated All-Star outfielder Juan Soto from the 10-day injured list on Saturday.
Soto has been sidelined since straining his left calf on July 24. He missed 15 games with a right calf injury in April.
Soto, 27, is batting .283 with 21 homers and 52 RBIs in 84 games this season, his second with the Mets as part of a 15-year, $765 million contract.
A five-time All-Star, Soto is hitting .282 with 265 homers and 749 RBIs in 1,180 career games with the Washington Nationals, San Diego Padres, New York Yankees and Mets.
In a corresponding transaction, the Mets optioned infielder Eric Wagaman to Triple-A Syracuse following Friday’s game.
