UNC legend Lennie Rosenbluth dies at 89

North Carolina legend Lennie Rosenbluth, who led the Tar Heels to an undefeated season and the national title in 1957, has died. He was 89.No cause of death was given by the school in its announcement.Rosenbluth and the Heels defeated the Wilt Chamberlain-led Kansas Jayhawks in triple overtime to win the title.”He had such a dignity about him,” former UNC head coach Roy Williams said in a statement. “The guys who came after him, they talked about Lennie with reverence. There was always something special about him.”
