The Tampa Bay Rays placed reliever Garrett Cleavinger on the 15-day injured list Friday with right calf tightness.
The move is retroactive to Tuesday for the 31-year-old left-hander, who is 1-1 with a 7.71 ERA in three appearances.
Cleavinger is 14-17 with eight saves and a 3.25 ERA in 193 career games (one start) with three teams since 2020.
The Rays recalled right-hander Hunter Bigge from Triple-A Durham in a corresponding transaction.
Bigge, 27, has no decisions and a 4.50 ERA in two appearances out of the Durham bullpen this season.
