Dallas Cowboys pass rusher Donovan Ezeiruaku is recovering from hip surgery and could be sidelined until the start of training camp, ESPN reported Monday.
The 2025 second-round draft pick underwent a procedure to repair a torn labrum five weeks ago but should be OK to participate in walkthroughs during OTAs, per the report.
Ezeiruaku, 22, is expected to move from defensive end to outside linebacker this season as the Cowboys transition to a 3-4 scheme under new defensive coordinator Christian Parker.
Ezeiruaku appeared in all 17 games (nine starts) as a rookie in 2025 and recorded two sacks, 12 quarterback hits, 40 tackles (nine for losses), one forced fumble and one safety. He played 604 snaps on defense and 85 on special teams.
